For over 50 years members of One Paper Buildings have appeared in criminal cases of legal importance. Our basic tradition is to give the same professional and dedicated service to every case. One Paper Buildings offers outstanding and acknowledged expertise in all areas of the Criminal Law. Chambers undertakes work in all courts, including Magistrates' Courts, Crown Courts, Courts Martial, and all Courts of appellate jurisdiction.

We are committed to providing advice and advocacy of the highest quality and a flexible approach to work with professional clients. We are always pleased to deal with conferences in Chambers, at local court centres, remand centres or in solicitors' offices. Facilities exist to conduct conferences in St John's chambers in Bristol.

Leading and junior members act in both publicly and privately funded cases across the entire range of offences. In addition to a large defence practice members are instructed by a wide variety of prosecution agencies.

We are pleased to offer a service that encompasses advice and advocacy from the earliest stages of litigation through to the conclusion of proceedings.

All our Queen's Counsel and four senior Juniors sit as Recorders in Criminal Matters in Crown Courts across the South-Eastern and Western Circuits. Others have experience in lecturing fellow members of the Bar and solicitors on a variety of topics, copies of which are available from our clerks.
