Practice
Andrew Shaw both prosecutes and defends across the
South Eastern Circuit. He has been instructed in cases involving homicide and
other serious violence, firearms, armed robbery, rape and other sexual offences,
significant drug trafficking and offences of duty evasion in
respect of tobacco and alcohol. He has particular experience in complex cases
of dishonesty. In addition he has also appeared in Courts-Martial and has
experience of regulatory offences, particularly in respect of health
and safety and food safety. He is regularly instructed as junior
counsel in serious cases — recent examples include child cruelty and
conspiracies to commit armed robbery and aggravated burglary.
