Practice
Charles Thomas is a criminal practitioner on the Western Circuit.
His practice encompasses the entire range of criminal work including
murder, manslaughter, rape and serious fraud and drugs cases. He
has particular expertise expertise in multi-handed drugs cases
and sex cases, especially those requiring the careful handling
of child witnesses. He has recent experience of cases involving
identity theft.
He has both prosecuted and defended as a leading
junior. He is a grade 4 prosecutor.
He accepts instructions in Courts
Martial cases.
He also has experience in the area of Defamation
and Contempt of Court, having given pre-publication advice for
a number of years to several national newspapers.
