Practice
Christopher J. Morgan is experienced
in all areas of criminal law. He is regularly instructed to prosecute
and defend in serious cases of violence (murder/ manslaughter);
sexual offences (with emphasis on child sex abuse cases); fraud;
and large -scale drug conspiracies. He has particular experience
prosecuting/ defending in covert surveillance cases, and is regularly
asked to advise on matters concerning disclosure of sensitive
material and present public interest immunity applications. He
is also on the Attorney-General's list for Customs & Excise
cases.
Part
of prosecution team dealing with Shaken Baby Syndrome case reviews
in Court of Appeal. Review ordered after R.v. Cannings.
In addition, Christopher J. Morgan has specific experience advising
on and presenting DNA evidence, and in cases involving child pornography
on the Internet; mental health issues and firearms.
