Practice
Matthew Jewell's practice includes criminal
prosecution and defence, covering the full range of offences,
in particular, drugs supply and importation, sexual offences
and serious offences of violence. He
has a particular interest in cases involving sensitive disclosure
issues, and those involving the use of covert surveillance. He
is regularly instructed as a leading junior.
Matthew Jewell is also a Pupil Supervisor.

Manchester Crown Court, multi-million pound VAT evasion. Acquitted after 10 week trial following abuse of process argument.
