Experience
Robert is a sole practitioner who has a general common law practice. His practice has evolved over the years and upon successfully completing pupillage at Bank House Chambers in Sheffield, he took tenancy there in 1975. He remained in Chambers for 25 years where he built an outstanding reputation in the North East. He was Grade III prosecutor until 2000 when he decided to shift focus in his Criminal practice from prosecution to defence.
Since then his practice has gone from strength to strength and he boasts extensive experience in both Crown and County courts, with regular appearances in Tribunals and the higher courts such as the High Court and Court of Appeal.
